The Phillipsburg community will celebrate "Ole Towne Festival" the weekend of July 27-29. On Friday, July 27th "Johnny the K" and the "Arrogant Worms" will perform at Shappell Park. Saturday, July 28th and Sunday, July 29th will include a variety of musical entertainment, amusements, food, crafts, car show, Civil War encampment, and a 5-K foot race at Walter's Park. The PEA will again participate by sponsoring a Kids-Krafts Kanopy featuring simple make-and-take projects for kids of all ages. If you are able to help with this worthwhile and fun service project, please mark your calendar and respond to me at ext. 2592 or through e-mail. Everyone - custodians, aides, office staff, administrators, teachers, support staff, bus drivers - is welcome. No craft experience is necessary and you need not be an elementary person. What a great way to keep in touch over the summer and to demonstrate our commitment to the community. Thanks!
