July 2004 1) Phillipsburg's Ole Towne Festival was July 23-25 and the PEA was there. Click here. 2) NJEA reported that P'burg had the 15th highest starting salary in NJ which placed us in the top 2.5% of all school districts in NJ. 3) The NEA Convention was held in Wash. D. C.	August 2004 1) Members of PEA Executive Committee met with Gordon about discipline & paperwork issues. Click here. 2) A general meeting was held on the first day of school where President George Chilmonik addressed us. September 2004  Over 100 new members joined the Association bringing the number of local members to an all new high of 600!	October 2004 1) New t-shirts with Association logo were worn for the first time ever at the October 11 in-service. 2) A New Members workshop was held at Flynn's on the Hill. Click here. November 2004 1) Food drive netted $2,133 for NORWESCAP. 2) The NJEA Convention was held in Atlantic City on Nov. 4-6. 3) New 3-year contracts for paras & security guards approved. 4) The new PEA Mortgage Program took effect this month.
