1) Members cyber-lobbied Trenton legislators on Dec. 7.

January 2007
1) Elaine Strahle, high school para, was named the Warren County ESP
of the Year.
2) Over $2,000 was raised for a member who lost her house to a sink
hole.

February 2007
1) The first mediation session for the teachers was
held on Feb. 13.
2) Warren Hospital presented Recognizing Child Abuse workshop
on Feb. 27.
March 2007
1) A pension workshop was held at Flynn's in March.
2) A general membership meeting was held on March 28 to discuss the
current status of negotiations of the teachers' contract.

April 2007
1) PEA sent out over 700 letters to all NJEA members living in the
Phillipsburg and sending districts. All budgets passed except Phillipsburg's.

2) Elections for PEA offices for the next two years resulted in Barbara
English-President; Deb Carty-Vice President; Jo Bononno-Treasurer;
Charles Nowalk-Recording Secretary; and Marilyn Shober-Corresponding
Secretary.
3) Barbara English presented $450 to the high school student council
for their AAG program.
